At Principle Power, we deliver floating offshore wind projects that set the standard for excellence across every phase – from engineering design through execution and handover, to inspection, maintenance & repair. Our best practices follow stringent standards, informed by more than 15 years of experience designing and operating floating projects. We continuously gather feedback from internal and external stakeholders to improve our products and processes.
Safety is at the core of our culture, and we strive for a zero-harm result. We operate in complex environments and recognize that the special care required to keep our people safe. Our Integrated Management System aligns our design and operational practices with regulatory and certification standards across the markets in which we operate. We empower our teams with the tools, training, and duty to stop work, flag hazards, and suggest processes improvements for an incident-free working environment for all contributors.
Principle Power designs cost-efficient floating wind technology solutions that minimize climate impacts and expand access to a scalable source of domestic, secure renewable energy. We work closely with stakeholders to identify and prioritize solutions that reduce impacts for marine ecosystems. We advocate for studies that monitor environmental impacts and promote open sharing of data to enable science-based conversations about how to minimize environmental impacts during construction and operations.

Principle Power is dedicated to excellence in Quality, Environment, and Occupational Health and Safety (QHSE). Our QHSE Integrated Management System is applied to the full project lifecycle, including Research & Development, Engineering, Project Management, and Operations & Maintenance services. We adhere to industry best practices, comply with relevant Health, Safety, Environmental, and regulatory standards globally, and seek continuous improvement through feedback from employees, stakeholders, and customers. Our priorities, set and reinforced by Executive Management, are safe working conditions, minimal environmental impact, excellent teamwork, and continuous skill development.
Principle Power’s Integrated Management System has been certified under the rigorous standards of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018. This system forms the backbone of our approach to managing cross-functional corporate processes, primary and supporting workflows, and interfaces across the organization. Our commitment to these standards is shaped by years of hands-on experience across fabrication, installation, and operation phases, helping us anticipate and mitigate real-world challenges as we scale up to meet the demands of commercial-scale delivery.
Principle Power employs a systematic and proactive approach to managing risks and opportunities through continuous, iterative processes within our certified Management System. These processes ensure compliance at all levels and enable us to identify risks and opportunities throughout all stages of product development. By integrating risk controls into our proven tools and workflows, we help customers and stakeholders navigate and proactively address complexities.
Risks are prioritized based on likelihood and severity, with proactive actions defined to eliminate or mitigate their impact. As projects evolve, detailed risk registers are transferred at each phase to support informed decision-making. Engineers address design risks through our Safety in Design process, while any remaining risks are managed through Occupational Health and Safety assessments at later stages.
With over a decade of experience in fabrication, installation, and operations, Principle Power leverages its track record and lessons learned from WindFloat® platforms and project execution to help our customers deliver reliable, cost-efficient floating wind projects. These valuable data have been incorporated into our design principles, processes, and specifications enabling us to proactively and effectively manage the challenges associated with scaling up for industrialized delivery. These proven methodologies ensure customers benefit from mature and efficient systems in each stage of their project.
