The WindFloat® portfolio advantage
Principle Power has proven WindFloat® from proof of concept to industrial scale, optimizing technology leveraging operational experience from pre-commercial projects that are currently delivering clean renewable electricity to the grid. Now, in its fourth generation, WindFloat® offers patented complementary solutions of semi-submersible floating foundations that are scalable with next generation of wind turbines, compatible with any supply chain setup, and suitable for deployment in waters deeper than 40 m:
- WindFloat T tubular design is the industry’s most proven and bankable floating foundation. It is optimized for standard turbines with perimeter column.
- WindFloat F flat panel design offers a complementary, pontoon-based solution, that accommodates flat panel fabrication methods. Like WindFloat T, WindFloat F has been designed for standard turbines and features perimeter columns.
- WindFloat TC and WindFloat FC - Principle Power’s center column designs – are optimized for the larger turbines and accommodate both tubular and flat panel construction methods.
